Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 17, 2026
Misenplace is designed to collect as little personal data as possible. This policy explains what data is handled by the app and server.
Data We Collect
The current app does not require an account. Recipe browsing, planning, shopping, and prep features can run with local app state and the Misenplace recipe API.
- Technical server logs may include request path, timestamp, IP address, user agent, and error details for reliability and abuse prevention.
- If you email support, we receive your email address and anything you choose to include in the message.
- In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
How We Use Data
- To provide recipe catalog, planning, shopping, and prep/cook functionality.
- To diagnose crashes, server errors, and support requests.
- To verify purchase entitlement through StoreKit on your device.
Data Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We may rely on Apple for App Store distribution, StoreKit purchases, TestFlight, and standard platform services. Server hosting providers may process technical logs as part of operating the service.
Retention
Technical logs are kept only as long as needed for operations and security. Support emails are kept as long as needed to resolve the request and maintain a useful support history.
Your Choices
You can delete the app to remove local app data from your device. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings.
